Rich Mavoko with Pacha wangu!!

Rich Mavoko has a new song Pacha wangu......some romantic song right here,i love the song, the beats, unique from what i know about Rich Mavoko, but the new style worked for him.
The video, very clear, beautifully done...i can see a cheetah right there, siulizi mengi,Just a pat on his back for a great audio n video.
Watch it here:-https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Egzv9bm3Ck8

Hussein Machozi releases a new hit!!

Hussein Machozi just released a video of the song Mimi na wewe and yes.....this is the Hussein Machozi i knew.
the video is spectacular,i should say a benefit of living in Kenya?this guy was once a big name, but since he relocated to kenya, he has not been doing so well as i expected, but with this song.......I guess he is getting his groove back.
I don't know why once a good Tanzanian musician comes to Kenya, his performance or fame goes down!!

I prefer Ada the original than the Coke studio rendition, what about you?

I will be honest.....Before coke studio 2 i had not heard of Ada Ada by Flavour,i guess it had not received so much play on our tv and radio stations but its a great song.
Between the Coke studio rendition done By Flavour and Victoria Kimani listen to it here:- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6k6tgTROu88 and the original Ada Ada done by flavour http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2lUFM8yTtUc i love the Original rendition.
Dont get me wrong, the rendition is perfect, the beats, the adition of Victoria kimani and the back up singers, beautiful, but i prefer the original song, sounds better.

I appreciate Coke studio, they are doing well introducing us to this diverse artists and truth be said, some of them have not been heard before this, but now they have become sweethearts to our ears!!
I will say the Ada Ada rendition is preferably my best in the coke studio performance this season!!
Remember Flavour is the musician who hit so big with the Ashawo song:-https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yMSTYtMSbL0

Beautiful Kisii version of the song, and personally, among all his remixes, this is my most favorite!!
Love him or hate him...this guy is talented in his own unique way,and hey,Have fun...laugh and get crazy like Agwatta is!!

Tutapaa by Esther Wahome!!

Esther Wahome is a big name in the Gospel music.......and i believe Esther is one of those gospel artists who liberated the music, made it what it is today, she made gospel play even in bars and i respect her for that.Remember that songKuna Dawa?
This song was an anthem, all over,in parties, clubs, weddings and it was the beginning of a  liberated gospel industry.
Now Esther Wahome is back with a new song called Tutapaa ,Amazing tune i tell you.

Beautiful,Easy tune from Young dee ft Jux

This song right here has a comical effect,i love it........easy, sexist though but hey,we should not be so serious on everything right?looking at the entertainment part, the song is fun!! with some love to the ladies at the end,beautiful.....
I dont know what i love about this song, but it has some wow factor that keeps me listening and humming to it!!
Especially the chorus, ila she is beautiful, huyo sio mchoyo.................Hey,just dancing my friday away in this sweet tune!!Waiting for the video though.

Prokoto video by Victoria Kimani ft Diamond and Ommy Dimpoz

I have reviewed this late......but truth be said, this song is wooooow!!and a mix of Diamond,Victoria Kiamni and Ommy Dimpoz is awesome.
and the prokoto dancing style, unique and creative....lovely!!
I love the song......the blend of kiswahili and english in the song and the test of Nigerian beats, nzuri sana i should say!!
Watch the Prokoto Video here:-https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6uUJK3Sf1K4
The video is clear and perfectly done, just perfect!!
Ale mama wo,basi nipe kidogo wo,mwenzako nipoze roho......thats my favourite part of the song.

One thing i love about Victoria is her love for our Kenyan culture, she might be westernized but she definitely remembers home and in this video we see both of this sides in her.
This might be one of the biggest East African Collabos, Just a great song done by great talents.
The song Prokoto’, a borrowed Congolese slang meaning swag is a heavy percussion based tune, which sees Victoria Kimani, Diamond and Ommy Dimpoz blend their native Swahili language with English to produce a sound that  surely thrills audiences.
The single is one of its kind and unique as it resembles that of a traditional African sound captivating the listener from the opening beat.
