The Taitan,Taita's Finest Read!!!??

Never have i been so excited about something in Such a long time,People people,Especially those from the Amazing County of Taita Taveta,Run to a shop near you and get yourself a copy of the Titan,Get to see me take a bold step and do my maiden Article.
I am proud of Me,Truth be told,I cross my fingers and hope that i did justice on the articles and hey,I hope you will join me in this Expressive journey i have taken.

Meet Kazungu Mwinyi,Presenter KBC RadioTaifa....

Today i write about a friend,One who has shown me the meaning of Resilience and Hardwork, You are wondering who i am talking about?Mwinyi Kazungu aka Mtetezi.
When i first heard him on Radio,it was NEVER in my dreams that i would meet him,Kumbe fate had it that we will one day share a joke or two and in April 2010,I joined KBC and i got to meet So many people i had just dreamt of,Lenard Mambo Mbotela,Ali Salim Mmanga,Khadija Ali,Salome Galgalo,Martin King'asia,Asha Juma,Caro Robi,Bonnie Musambi,Lore Loorio,Omuga Kabisae,Aunty Sophie ,Mwalimu JOJ,Anne Njogu, Jeff Mwangemi, Isack Lemoka,Abwao aka Agwatta and Of cz my best Friend Lourdes Walusala and Many others.
Then The show Ketau Express was done by Caro Robi and Mwinyi Kazungu,It got to a place where Lourdes and I became producers of the show,Made me love Young hype African music more.
While at this,I got to know how Robi and Kazungu loved This music,especially Kenyan music,how they believed in Local talent,They set the trend for sure.Then Robi went,And Kazungu remained,and amidst change of shows from names,to timings ie from mid morning to afternoon and back to midmorning,He kept at it with a smile,The interviews with artist,The several ideas he floated that he was not able to implement and we saw other media houses implement,He never for once threw up his hands and say,Walahi nimechoka,Noooo,Kazungu came up with another one,And another one,Idea after an idea,even when he had to hold a show for someone after his,he would do it and come the next day sooo fresh and ready to represent the youth.
So today,I celebrate Mwinyi Kazungu,his show is Top Mashariki running from 10 am to 12 pm exclusive miziki ya kizazi kipya from The East African Countries On KBC Radio Taifa.
Its six years since i got to know Kazungu,And to date,He remains passionate about his job.
Kazungu does a show On the same content on KBC Channel 1 too,Every Friday from 10pm......Make a date and watch him,Get to see this passionate Coastal guy (Wakwehu)
Mtetezi dear friend,Kudos my dear,Keep up the passion,You and Caroline Mramba aka Mtoto Mzuri are doing a great job,I am so Proud of you guys.

King Kaka tells it as it is.....Buy Kenyan,Use Kenyan!!

I am glad that King Kaka agrees with me,that all we need to do is appreciate each other,support each other,and play more Kenyan music.......This is what he had to say!!!

'Respect your elders, I started doing this $**t while you were still in diapers' I think Nameless akiandika hiyo line alikuwa ananiongelea na hawa marapper wote wanajiita Kings na Ma Queens na hii Generation yote mpya ya musicians.  But kile mimi inaniuma ni Kitu inaitwa RESPECT ama RESPEK,  just put some respect on these guys (kama sijakuweka kwa list jiweke tu ama mafans wakuweke).
Sazile Alikiba anakam na analipwa hiyo 2million sio mbaya,  Diamond anakam analipwa hiyo 2 Million,  Na Nani pia anakam analipwa 2 Million,  na Nani pia 2 million but on the same performance utaona wameweka legends wa hapa Kenya na trust me wamepewa 300k,  400k ata unaweza Pata mi 100k (shame,  what a shame)  sahizo bado yule amekupa show anataka cut yake which sio mbaya but what do fans expect.  Hii kitu yote iko connected.
Fact 1: pay an Artiste 100k unaexpect aende South Africa kushoot video (yet by the way mimi uona ni ufala,  huku Kuna Enos,  Kyalo,  J Blessing,  Wallace na ni wanoma)  so atalipa ndege na album yake ama???? So don't expect many Godfather Campos videos huku any time soon. 
Fact 2: Less play kwa stations,  na hii mimi nakuwanga advocate (kwanza kama Kuna stations ulikuwa unaniona na sikuhizi haunioni, hao walicatch wale wananipa airplay Big Up but good Thing mafans wangu wako tight na Mimi kwa MA mathree na kejani zao,  Hauwezi zima moto ya Mungu,  aje??? Ha ha ha)
Fact 3: mafans unajua tunawapenda sana na sana,  but Si twende concert za Wasanii wakenya pia vile sisi uenda za nje,  vile Sauti Sol wako na album Si twende Supermarket tukabuy (ata mimi nijitete,  niko na album nne niko itunes na hizo ma Mziiki na kadhalika ukitaka physical niko na jeshi yangu itakuletea)  anyway we as artists are very thankful but let's show more support that's the only way we will get Nameless and Wyre walipwe 2 million,  let's vote kwa wale wako nominated let's watch their links kwa youtube let's get entertained (na nyinyi pia Wasanii make more effort just alittle more,  mdogo mdogo)
Fact 4: mimi kwanza ni fan mnoma sana wa Kenyan Music from tene sana and na  msee aliniInspire was and still is Chiwawa (najua hii generation ya KuDab hamjui mtu kama huyu,  well Google is your friend)  anyway hizi ma MCSK,  PRISK,  CMO'S,  PRSP get your act right tafadhali.  Msanii anaingia studio anafanya kazi yake,  wewe Si ufanye kazi yako.  bado unataka atoke studio akuje demonstration bado unaexpect aishi kwa hao poa,  bado tunaexpect aDrive gari nzuri ati hasipande mat,  bado unaexpect aende SA,  bado unaexpect amake statement aje.  Ataenda studio saa ngapi na ataenda demonstration saa ngapi??? 
Anyway I am thankful to all the stations zinacheza more Kenyan (endeleni hivyo hivyo)  All the Djs who push for more Kenyan (kwanza nyinyi hapo mnacheza role Kubwaaaaaaaa sana BIG UP ,  we appreciate,  all the fans wale wameenda sahii kucheki album yangu iTunes na kama ushawai buy any Kenyan Music BIG UP,  wale wote ubuy tiko za show na wanaenda manze nyinyi ni shujaa (wakireWrite history mnafaa muwekwe -my opinion),  wale event organizers upush msanii apewe more money BIG up (sababu music is art and it's not even equivalent to that 2 million nasema,  but gets the art growing) , kama uko na mix ya Kenyan kwa keja yako ama more songs za Kenya kwa simu yako BIG UP wewe ni shujaa. 
All I am saying let's start by putting some RESPECT on our Legends akina Nameless,  akina WYRE, (wale wanaPut in work)  list ni Refu you know them.  (mimi ntajitetea baadaye,  but we have to start somewhere)  na you can quote me.
