By the way,i had a blonde moment,i thought Navy Kenzo is just one artist,kumbe they are a group?i know you thought so too.

For jaguar to sing with Sudi,he knows that Sudi is a brand, Sudi has cut a niche for himself and i am sure sky is the limit for him.
Sudi is doing good....and i beleive he knows that the only way his songs can be played on Kenyan TV Stations,its for him to partner with Nairobi artists and Sudi has done just that.

I love creative people, i admire artists with brains and i guess thats why Rabbit will remain one of my favorite rappers in Kenya.
You want to know why i say all this?read my earlier blogs on him,listen to several of his collabos with Amos and Josh,with Avril and with Sudi boy.
His songs are a hit because of this blends, dont you agree that thats brilliant?
Now,He has out done himself again by singing with Rich Mavoko, you all know him right? you mean you dont?ok Rich Mavoko is this Bongo guy who sung the famous Roho Yangu.
Now you know?ok so King Rabbit has done this magnificent song with Rich Mavoko and this song Njoo is awesome....just listen to Mavoko's vocal.....Kali sana au??

Guess the only reason why i love the song Moto wa Kuotea mbali by the Kansoul ft Nameless.

I might have a crush on Nameless ama how do i explain the fact that am loving this song by the Kansoul? i think its just because of the part Nameless is singing because sincerely....Sijui nani ni moto wa kuotea mbali can not attract anyone.
The only part interesting and worth listening for me is "respect your elders i started singing when you were still in diapers" true though,nameless is a legend, i guess my bias.
If this is your type of song?be my guest,but personally? not my cup of tea.

Told you that rap made sense to me because of King Kaka,the way he blends his rap musically,just is brilliant.

There is that moment in life when you feel low...you want to be in your cocoon and just either sleep or think deeply and make sense of issues going through your life?
Different people use the "me time"differently.

Sanaipei Tande is an amazing artists with an amazing voice and i just love her.....Problem is her focus on music, i think she does not take it as serious as she needs to and thus makes it.
Away from that, i love this new jam Ankula Huu. So so beautiful, got nothing more to say about this song, you just listen and watch it keenly then give me your view.

Nerea by Sautisol and Amos and Josh

Sauti Sol will never cease to amaze me.....I just love this boys.I know by today you would have listened to Nerea and would have heard about the contoversies around it, I say Kenyans always hate hate and hate, i see nothing wrong with the message, but to me the song is flat.
I mean even if i played it on speaker nothing attracts me, or was that to bring the sombre mood of the song? if that was the reason, then it was achieved.
Good achievement to Amos and Josh, great step right here, love this.

Kalibatanya by Juliana,too Plain for me!!

Juliana has a priceless voice,if i say beautiful it will be an understatement, so let me stick on priceless, but i ask does she know how much her voice is epic? i say no......I might not be a Ugandan to understand the song but if you have been a juliana fan, you will just hit next on he new son Kalibatanya its typical Juliana, i would have preferred a new Juliana like when she sung the song Woman this song gave me a new Juliana and i thought this would be the trend.
Any way, Kalibatanya just like all of Julian's songs is beautiful, brings out the best in her voice.
So Juliana Darling, please surprise me next time....am getting comfortable with your music, please shock me.

Remember Atemi of tusker project fame?that lady with a very strong voice who sometimes coached the participants?she just released a song in collaboration with Lady Jaydee and i must say that it is an amazing song.
The video is so colourful and vibrant,good pictures, a bit creative and i am loving it and the blend of swahili and english,creatively done!!

Izzo bizness is one musician who has made me appreciate rap music,and the song Kidawa is one song that has been done uniquely,and the video.....excellent, if it was produced in Tanzania,the who the hell said that tanzanians can not produce good videos??
Just watch and listen to the song here,unique is the right word.Maybe because i have a special liking for Shaa?the girl is just talented,need i say more?

Chekechua with Ali Kiba!!

So after releasing the hit Mwana n it doing so well,Kiba is back with a new single Chekecha Chekechua.
The song is not so bad,but comparing it with Mwana,this was a flop,i hope Ali Kiba is not trying so hard to compete with anyone,i wish he would remain himself and sing what he feels is best for him not for anyone else,because truth be said,Kiba you have a name,you have people who believe in you,dont try so hard,be natural and everything elese will fall into place.
The song is not bad though,let me keep my fingers crossed for a good video, maybe the video will make the song hit more!!

Nasema Nawe by Diamond ft Khadija Kopa,wowed me!!

So Diamond released a song a few weeks ago and all i can say is,i am woowed,not that the song is soooo unique,no but he caught me off guard with a taarab song.

He really is dynamic and hands up for Diamond,nimekubali.

Been listening to it for sometime now,i am not a taarab lover,at all,but to my readers,who are taarab lover,listen to Nasema Nawe by Diamond Platnumz featuring Khadija Kopa.

Mez B was a reknowned tanzanian artist with several song to his name,too bad he has no good songs that he sung recently,but he has so many songs that were a hit in our time.

This song Woman By Juliana Kanyomozi is one with a very strong message,its a simple song with an amazing and touching message.
The video is also simple and epic, its a video that helps emphasize the message in the song.
I know Juliana has been through alot,and maybe in this song,she is indirectly trying to tell us how she had to be strong as a woman.
Good song Juliana,and the video,can i ask where it was shot?Love it!!
Am sure Juliana is breaking the internet with the epic photos in the video.

And the video to the song Siri is out and this video is just amazing,so creatively done it just makes the song better,am loving it more than before.
And Vanessa has a voice,what????the vocals,just so amazing.

Baadaye by Amos and Josh......An amazing song!!

Remember Amos and Josh of Tusker project fame 6?personally i was so sure they would win,but i guess East Africans thought other wise,Now this duo are a force to reckon,boys are singing like crazy.
Actually my most favorite by them is the latest they have done called Baadaye.

This song is sooo emotional and amazing too,that i listen to it over and over again.Am sure once you listen to it, you will for head over heels like i have.
And the producer of this song Cedrick Kadenyi (cedo) is just a talented guy,in my next life,he will produce my songs.
The duo have also produced another song Smile which is also a classic,So lovely.

Then the blend between them and Rabbit,i love it,Sad and emotional song though,but hey,who said we cant love such songs?

From me here, i wish this duo all the best,and i have so much faith in them,i know they are going far.

Talented Aslay Now in Yamoto Band!!

In my quest to look for this very talented kid,Aslay,i stumbled upon a band that he is now a member.
The band can sing,beautiful songs and talenti am amazed.
Now Aslay is one kid who came to the limelight with the song Nakusemea remember the song?and the artist?thats the guy am talking about.
His talent is top notch,and i was seated and wondering where could this beautiful talent be,i am smiling because the guy apart from growing physically,he is doing well as an artist.
Aslay has also done songs like Shukrani which is a collabo between him and another kid Dogo Muu,Umbea and Niwe Nawe which are also a collabo between him and Chege who is a renowned Tanzanian  artist.
He has also done a collabo with Chege and some kenyan artists on the song Kicheche.

Now i know you are asking where Aslay is?the guy is doing well,he is now in a band that so far has very very attractive sings,am just loving what they do and if they stick together,they are going far.
The name of the band is Yamoto,and some of the songs they have done are:-

Hello Baby By Avril and Ommy Dimpoz a miss for me!!

So i heard that Ommy Dimpoz and Avril had done a collabo and i in my imagination thought the song would be the hottest this year,Am disapointed to say the least,the song is so ordinary, maybe the song will be a hit because of the names of this two big artists but not because they did justice to the song.
The video though,too good,amazing creativity for such a dissapointing song.

If there is a song that blesses me this new year...its Ninangára by Christina Shusho,The song just speaks to me and am just amazed by the talent too.
The video is top notch, just like the audio.
